(6,206 posts)Biden is our best chance to win the Electoral College which means state by state. Put your "like" candidate aside and support the one that can beat trump. Winning is all that matters. Saying you would vote for whoever gets the nomination is not going to get it either. Support who can win

(7,447 posts)so it makes it pretty easy to support whomever will win the nomination because whomever will win the nomination "can win."
Anything else is either fear or the old "only a centrist can win" baloney.

(7,447 posts)we have to win BOTH. And picking a candidate that turns off the left is NO smarter than picking a candidate that turns off the middle.

Or are you just going to switch to another centrist white guy because of your fear of Trump voters and the mythical center?

(7,447 posts)plenty of polls are now showing he's tied with Warren, particularly in the early voting states.
Second of all, why was Hillary ahead at this point in 2007?
Shouldn't we have listened to your argument then and not nominated the black guy with the funny name who wasn't doing as well as Hillary was?
Anyone who treats polls over a year out as gospel is not very knowledgeable about politics or polling.
