I don't know what kind of "surrogate" John Cusack is but whatever he is he needs to chill.

(297,196 posts)Someone said they reported it for "targeted harassment".. Cusack is not doing his candidate any good.. perhaps just the opposite.

(7,864 posts)I think the recent spate of poor news and poor polling have got them in an even more aggressive mode than usual.

(2,471 posts)So if you could find examples in which the media has lied about Sanders it would bolster Cusack's claim.
Something like this. https://theintercept.com/2019/03/03/msnbc-yet-again-broadcasts-blatant-lies-this-time-about-bernie-sanders-opening-speech-and-refuses-to-correct-them/
That is a truth statement. It is either true or false; not both true and false or neither true or false.
If the media blamed Sanders for inciting a mass shooting, would that support Cusack's point?
https://fair.org/home/action-alert-with-sleazy-innuendo-nyt-lays-virginia-attack-at-bernie-sanders-feet/
If a media fact checking organization call a Sander's statement a lie, then when it was discovered that the statement was accurate, the organization didn't retract; would that tend to confirm Cusack's claim?
https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/bernie-sanders-medical-bankruptcy-washington-post-fact-check-878120/
If people simply dismiss Cusack's claim, without examining the evidence, does that effect the truth or falseness of that claim?
Continually surprised how liberals, who have been burned by the media for decades, now happily give the media the benefit of the doubt.

(31,261 posts)If Cusack has evidence, he need to present it, otherwise he need to stfu.
As I watch his camoaign, Bernie Sanders and his surrogates have been the people inflicting damage on his campaign.

(31,261 posts)evidence to back them up. No one on DU makes claims of the magnitude that I just listed.

(2,471 posts)A day rarely passes in which someone on DU doesn't make momentous charges. I think you mean no one on DU has the power or notoriety to make allegations that would effect the country.
And I'd say neither does John Cusack.

I think the candidate himself was going on about it as well. Something something enemy of the people.

These are Cusack's words so Tom Watson is immaterial.. anyway Watson has more than 36,000 Followers so somebody thinks he's worth reading. I don't except Sanders' supporters to like him.
