Now that formal impeachment inquiries are on, a blizzard of shit will come out. More than can be countered by the usual gishgalloping and insulting we've seen for three years.

So, Republican congresscritters will feel less and less compelled to back the White House and may get to the point of pressuring Tangerine Wankmaggot to reign, a la Nixon. Or, he will be pressured to not run for re-election. Remember that no one in DC actually likes this guy, and any excuse to get rid of him should be welcomed.

Pence has absolutely no following, so he won't be running for the top spot. There are still a few Republicans without the Trumpian stench about them who can credibly run, and will be glad to.

So, who on our side could credibly run against a Romney or Weld?
