I have a question about Tulsi

Precipitating headline:
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard says impeachment of Trump would be 'terribly divisive' for country

Link:
https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/24/politics/tulsi-gabbard-impeachment-trump-cnntv/index.html

Does anyone else understand why she would say this? I have my theories.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Meanwhile, while this acquired distaste remains in the race, some very impressive candidates, including very competent and reliable governors, are no longer in.

One clue in the mystery is that she's doing very well with "grassroots" fundraising. That's a wonderful thing that's hurting our wannabe kleptocrats, but a double-edged sword. Some people are very easily convinced to donate to candidates they really do not know. And how many are people who'd insist on knowing who's doing the convincing and why?

Rightwing mouth talkers have been promoting contributions to Williamson and Gabbard. Many have contributed a few dollars, $2, $3, just to get those two over the donor threshold. Two things to highlight, how much she raises and the average amount of her donations, if she raises very little, her support is rightwing ratfucking.

It is very easy to influence polls by lying about one's party affiliation. The right appears to be doing that for selective candidates. They can influence voting unless the primary is open (which is one more argument for closed primaries).

Gabbard ran as a Democrat because her district's heavily Democrat. We have too many of those in office.

As for open primaries I remember Sanders and the conservative spoiler voters pouring in all too well. It was so bad that Pew had to measure two sets of numbers for him: total support and genuine supporters.

She has to know that her shot at winning the nomination is at 0%. Not even putin's money and trolls can change that now.

So why is she still in the race? To disrupt and screw with our chances of retaking the White House!

Who knows? I doubt that segment is greater than the percent she polled before this. Obviously looking for a way to distinguish herself in the field. No one else on stage would have that view.

Second guess, her real goal is to become Trump's VP in a national unity ticket where he dumps Pence.
