I'm All In: Warren for President

Historically, I have refrained from expressing a preference until the calendar turns over into an election year. But I can't put it off any longer.

The question is "For whom would I vote if the primary were today?" I can unequivocally say it would be Elizabeth Warren. I wouldn't even hesitate.

I have the utmost respect for quite a few Democratic candidates and would happily cast my vote for any number of them in the general election. We have a talented deep bench.

But she's my preference hands down. I trust her. I have confidence in her. I like her.

She has the knowledge. She has the temperament. She has the compassion. She has the energy and the drive. It is going to take a mountain of effort to undo the damage the Trump administration has wrought in an astoundingly short time. I have faith in her.

Elizabeth Warren for President of the United States

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Warren is my 2nd pick for that reason. If the Republicans are decimated in 2020, she'll be in a position to put a leash on the corporate elite. That would be amazing.

When the campaign first started, I was determined to remain undecided until 2020. Since I was certain I'd be voting for the Democratic nominee, I thought it best not to get too invested in any one candidate. There were 4 candidates I really liked. Warren wasn't one of them.

Over time, two candidates other than my original favorites changed my mind: Warren and Buttigieg. I decided on Warren due to her experience at the federal level, her grasp of every issue, and her amazing energy.

I now believe he has a better chance at winning in the general, the only criterion that matters to me and primary voters. But will see what happens in the next few months. We have superb top tier candidates: Biden, Warren, Harris and Buttigieg. Bernie in the race is probably going to block Warren from securing nomination due to split vote so I predict Biden will win.

She will have decades of damage to reverse, ever since the pukes began wrecking the Federal government, starting under Tricky Dick, carried on in earnest under raygun, and continuing through subsequent administrations.

Reverse decades of neoliberalism and all the harm that has come from it.

She's up to the task.

Said about Sen. Warren by an attendee at Netroots Nation and I can’t improve on it. That passion combined with her knowledge and experience on the economy and finance puts her head-and-shoulders above the rest IMO. This country needs her at this moment.

...It's not that she's my 2nd choice, or Mayor Pete is my 3rd choice. I would happily vote for either of those three without even thinking about it because, as far as how I think they would do as President, there isn't much daylight between those three from my perspective. But, I've been a Kamala supporter from the outset, and I feel like she hasn't done anything to lose my loyalty.
