Congratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!
Joe Biden calls Pete Buttigieg 'a good man' for defending the Biden family

"I'm a friend of Pete Buttigieg," Biden told the United Food and Commercial Workers 2020 presidential forum in Altoona. "By the way, hes a really decent guy. I turned on the television this morning and he was defending me and my family against these outrageous, lying ads of the president of the United States of America. Thats a good man."
Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, appeared on CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday morning and was asked if the decision by Biden's son, Hunter Biden, to step down from the board of a Chinese private equity firm appeared to acknowledge that there was the appearance of a conflict of interest.
"I think it demonstrates the difference in standards relative to the White House," Buttigieg said on the show. "I mean, here you have Hunter Biden stepping down from a position in order to make sure, even though theres been no accusation of wrongdoing, doing something just to make sure theres not even the appearance of a conflict of interest. While, in the White House, the president of the United States is a walking conflict of interest."

I have great respect for both these men.
Kudos to both of them.

And I also approve of his sharper tone about tRump.
That was very satisfying.

(19,564 posts)4. Two of my favorites.
I had huge dreams for Buttigieg in 2024 back in 2015. I still have huge hopes and expectations for him. He's an amazing asset to our party, hands down!
If not for Trump I'd be all in for Buttigieg but times are just too volatile right now and he's an unknown. Which doesn't dim my respect of him one bit. I'm still thrilled to see him getting recognition this cycle. He'll be our president one day. Watch and see.

manipulative, pushy question.. make it work for Reality and Dems! Mahalo!
