Biden calls out Trump by name in new anti-corruption plan

The Hill

Former Vice President Joe Biden on Monday released a government ethics plan that directly targets President Trump and what the 2020 presidential candidate calls the “most corrupt administration in modern history.”

The ambitious plan centers around reducing corruption in politics, restoring ethics in government and reining in the conflicts of interest from the executive branch. It draws directly from what Biden views as a president who has "abused the presidency to enrich himself — spending countless tax dollars at his own properties."

"We must elect leaders with integrity, for whom the public interest is paramount. But that’s not enough. We also must strengthen our laws to ensure that no future president can ever again use the office for personal gain," the plan reads.

The rollout of the policy plan comes as Trump and his reelection campaign continue to promote unfounded allegations of corruption about the former vice president and his son. A whistleblower complaint filed within the intelligence community accuses Trump of pressuring Ukraine to investigate the Democratic presidential candidate.

when he talks about someone on the same page as he is. Loyalty is what he gave Obama.

VPs is a behind the throne position. Often that the VP was a powerful player behind that throne is not known at the time—not by the general pubic.

So VP is not a position for someone strongly attached to her own change agenda, ambitious to lead, or who is really not sold on Joe. He has seen the difference a “got your back” VP makes.

Look for something Joe lacks, not someone on the opposite side of the political spectrum. Joe lacks youth, obviously, is male, and pale.

There are several accomplished, hard-working, but lower profile WOC in senate. Personally, I hope he does not choose a rival candidate. He a natural uniter without having to create some coalition government.

This reads like a watered-down version of Warren's plan, and missing some key provisions, but that could be The Hill's reporting. Can someone please link the actual plan? Thanks!
