Beto campaign: BS's supporters fuel misinformation about TX Dem's record-breaking fundraising haul

Misinformation accusing Texas Democrat of receiving illegal donations from state party goes viral after massive fundraising haul
Beto O’Rourke's record-breaking fundraising haul has appeared to upset supporters of Bernie Sanders, who began spreading misinformation about how the Texas Democrat’s campaign managed to top that of the Vermont senator’s in its first 24 hours.

A tweet claiming the former congressman’s 2020 campaign was part of a supposed financial kickback with the Texas Democratic Party went viral after Mr O'Rourke released his fundraising figures from his first day on the campaign trail earlier this week.

That tweet was posted by Xavier Perez, a member of the Democratic county committee in Bronx, New York and a former volunteer for Mr Sanders’ 2016 presidential campaign.

It's time for BS to rein in his attack dogs and liars.
If I were to vote in a presidential

Sanders should have sent Beto roses and kissed him full on the lips and dropped out immediately to make way for him.

There is some history in his back grojnd of him accepting campaign contributions from republican sources with an agenda. He also had some big money donors in the senate race. Nothing wrong with either. There is slso nothing wrong with looking at his or any any other candidates fundraising to see where the money came from.

Perez worked to get an agreement from every candidate that he or she will support the eventual nominee. I don't have any question that everyone but Bernie will live up to their promise 100%, maybe Bernie will also, but I honestly have my doubts and early tidings from his campaign are doing nothing to assuage those doubts.

I hope for the best, but at this point, I have deep worries. You can see why here on DU, some Bernie supporters are cool, some have even indicated liking candidates other than Bernie, so I think those people will be ok, they will join us or we will join them in the Fall of 2020 to fight Trump together. But some Bernie supporters, even though they don't come right out and post it, leave the indication that unless Bernie is our party's nominee, they won't be playing ball with the rest of us in the Fall of 2020.

If I were to vote in a presidential

hires them.

Bernie Sanders Just Hired His Twitter Attack Dog

David Sirota had been working unofficially for Sanders while savaging the other Democratic candidates on Twitter

snip//

Shortly before he gave speeches launching his 2020 campaign earlier this month, Bernie Sanders emailed his supporters, urging them to “do our very best to engage respectfully with our Democratic opponents—talking about the issues we are fighting for, not about personalities or past grievances. I want to be clear that I condemn bullying and harassment of any kind and in any space.”

What he didn’t include was that one of the people already advising him and helping him write those launch speeches is one of his most famously aggressive supporters online.

Since December, David Sirota has, on Twitter, on his own website, and in columns in The Guardian, been trashing most of Sanders’s Democratic opponents—all without disclosing his work with Sanders—and has been pushing back on critics by saying that he was criticizing the other Democrats as a journalist. He centered many of his attacks on Beto O’Rourke, but he also bashed Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Joe Biden, Kirsten Gillibrand, Michael Bennet, John Hickenlooper, Mike Bloomberg, and even Andrew Cuomo.
