Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumWith Regard to Democratic Primary Candidates:
There will be news about them on a regular basis. Commenting on that news is a legitimate use of this forum on DU. That is true, even if the commentary is critical of the candidates who make that news.
We will be holding primary elections and caucuses next year. Primaries are competitive elections, and there are currently 15 or more Democratic candidates vying for the nomination of the Democratic Party for that office.
If any candidate makes a decision, such as appointing campaign staff, that seems unwise or difficult to understand to some members of this forum, such decisions are fair game for criticism.
Such criticism or questioning of decisions by candidates is not "bashing" that candidate. It is commentary on a competitive race for the nomination. Such commentary is allowed in the Democratic Primaries Forum. In fact, it is an essential part of the discussion, since the decision of who will be the Democratic nominee is so important.
Democrats are well within their rights to criticize primary candidates for their actions, words, or written statements. Such criticism should not be called "bashing" by other Democrats. If the candidate you support is criticized, argue your points in favor of that candidate. That is political discussion.
This is my opinion. Your opinion might differ. Please feel free to disagree with mine. That is the essence of discussion.

(5,812 posts)There is not one person who has announced -- and one who I am sure is about to -- who I would hesitate to support. This year is amazing. The talent, the thoughts and ideas!
MAKES ME PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN AND A DEMOCRAT!
