The Actions of Trump and the DOJ Show That The Ultimate End Game

Is to simply arrest or prosecute the Democratic nominee. This is why Trump and Barr have been bringing up both Biden and Warren to try to get countries to fabricate some basis for an investigation into them. This is why Barr is now about to start a criminal investigation into the Russia investigation even though the Mueller report showed that Russia did interfere in support of Trump and Bernie Sanders.

At the end of the day, too many Republicans are in too deep. Subverting our democracy is the price to be paid to avoid potential prosecution for their multiple crimes. This is why Trump has been throwing everyone under the bus on his side. His strategy is to implicate everyone to keep Republicans loyal.

Do you really have faith that Trump and Republicans are willing to hand over power? They will criminally investigate and perhaps charge whoever is the Democratic nominee. They are not going to F&^k around. This is an uneven fight. Democrats have to comply with the law. Trump and Republicans do not, since they have the DOJ and Supreme Court on their side.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Democrats can impeach, and alienating the senators who are on the fence will only draw them towards removing him. Arresting senators who aren't on his side will reduce the possible no votes for conviction. It is a lose lose for him in the end, unless he is able to completely throw out the constitution altogether.

...on Republicans to respect rule of law in the Senate. Why bother with fair elections if you can simply seize power. Sure there might be protests like Hong Kong, but how is that working out.
