(628 posts)I like EW cause I think she will really go after banks and wall street. She will shake things up big time but I also feel like Buttigieg would probably make the best President over all of them.

(19,479 posts)It's a wonderful ad.
I have to say, though, that those white balloons(?) are an unfortunate choice.

(15,524 posts)something to the effect of "too many platitudes, short on specific plans".
Pete IS Mr. Plan. He has repeatedly said that the plans are his happy place AND that he is strategically working to connect with people on values.
Too many times, Democrats present plans as a way of expressing values and wind up losing voters because, while everyone says they want to see the plans and compare candidate plans, it gets too overwhelming for most voters and they tune out.
Pete plays "four-dimensional chess" - the standard three-dimensional chess with the added dimension of time.
I think Elizabeth Warren is right about MFA is the best next step. I think Buttigieg is right about the voters' willingness to take that step - they aren't.
I don't know what all Warren has in her MFA plan. I pay a lot less for my employer-provided insurance than we paid Anthem for the Medigap plan we had for my mother-in-law. Medicare without the Medigap policy left us way too exposed to risk. The Medigap plan covered everything that Medicare didn't pay for and that was a LOT in the last year of her life.
