closest with the American people. I read somewhere that when the left picks candidates that are more progressive and not middle of the road, we WIN. It's true if you look at our history.
No corporate owned middle of the road candidate for the general please!

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

How do you define progressive and more progressive.

Post WWII -

Truman v. Estes Kefauver -- Don't know enough but don't see either as progressive.
Kennedy v. Hubert H. Humphrey - I thought Humphrey was more liberal than Kennedy?
Johnson v. George Wallace - Johnson is definitely the more progressive of these two.
Carter v. Jerry Brown - I think Brown was more progressive than Carter.
Clinton v. Jerry Brown v. Paul Tsongas - I think Brown and Tsongas were more progressive than Clinton.
Obama v. Hillary Clinton - I think Obama ran as more progressive but think both were pretty centrist.

I am not seeing your argument.

But I'm not a historian.
