10. Warren And Sanders Want To Raise Their Own Taxes
Mon Nov 25, 2019, 04:50 PM

They know in advance that their prospective presidency would impact their wallet and proudly persevere. Besides, Senator Warren's wealth tax leaves the first $50 million untouched. That ought to suffice. It would for me.

Reason being, thanks to decades of inflation, having a million dollars in wealth is just not very wealthy. A lot of 'middle class' families are 'millionaires'. 1000000 in assets including your home puts you in the 88th percentile. That ain't the 1% and it ain't the 10%. To break into the 1% you need a net worth over 10M. But even then, those people have not accumulated multi-generation spanning wealth, the wealth of oligarchs. You need to be in the billionaire class to have assets that can exist in perpetuity (if it weren't for those pesky leftists.)

They run because they are afraid of ''socialism'' making ground and they see it as a threat to their ''empires''.. Whether it be inherited wealth or sell made man wealth, once you become part of the 'club' you protect that mountain of wealth.
