He is polling better than most other candidates, and doing extremely well, at times leading, in some pivotal early states.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The endorsement of the Culinary Union is huge factor in which candidate wins the Nevada Caucus ……...They endorsed Hillary in 2008 and 2016 and she won both times ..They put her over the top ….Buttigieg has earned the opportunity to make his case ...

primary today, I would vote for:

They endorsed Obama in 2008. They very aggressively supported him.

And HRC won the contest anyway. It was a hell of a victory, like her earlier win in New Hampshire. The media never gave her too much credit for either win.

The culinary union was incredibly aggressive in their support for Obama. I remember that people who worked at the casinos, which were also caucus sites, were told they could only leave work if they were going to caucus for Obama. I remember thinking at the time "could you imagine if people were being told that they could only leave to support Hillary? She would be relentlessly excoriated."

People who think Bernie was treated harshly in 2016 have no idea what HRC has faced at various points. They insist on believing that just because her husband was once president she must have all sorts of incredible advantages and establishment support. In reality, she is often up against incredible obstacles.

LOL, now I am remembering the final contests of that race. She won South Dakota by 10 points even as the media was announcing that she was dropping out of the race and as Tom Daschle's party machine came crashing down on her.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Kamala Harris, who dropped out of the race Tuesday, was the first candidate to get a town hall with the union’s members last month, and the events with Warren, Sanders and Biden will be the last events of their kind.

The union says only top Democratic candidates have received an invite. Several other candidates were invited to participate but unable to make the scheduling work. The union declined to name the others.
