Joe Biden has 538 contributions with a total of $35,271.70 raised.

All contributions total 1,917 contributions and $69,204 raised.

For Biden, I'm getting that the average total donation is $65.56. That is terriffic!

If I were to vote in a presidential

Warren's support is considerably higher number-wise, and Sanders supporters seem to spend a considerable amount of time talking about donations, both in amount and in volume, so I'm a little surprised that Biden is ahead of both.

Sanders' average donation numbers, in general, are artificially low because his campaign specifically tells people to make multiple donations of small amounts rather than lump sums. There's no reason to believe that's any different on DU or that the other candidates, including Biden, are using similar methods. That makes average donation number comparisons largely meaningless.

That being said, the average for Biden on DU is only $65. Not sure that's as significant as one might think.
