Congratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!
Sema Hernandez wants to talk to me about the TX-SEN Primary...
Christian,
I'm hoping to get on the phone with you this week about my 2020 race for U.S. Senate in Texas. I run a 100% grassroots, people-driven campaign against the ultra-conservative, big money-bankrolled John Cornyn, a Trump lackey whos been in office for 17 long years. Time after time, hes unapologetically stuck to the agenda dictated by corporate PACs and special interests rather than an agenda set by the needs of his constituents.
My 2018 Senate campaign ran on progressive issues, policies, and solutions, and earned 24% of the Democratic vote as a first-time candidate. At the same time, the Blue Wave swept the nation, with Democrats taking back state legislatures and the U.S. House. Im back to finish the job we started last year to put a progressive Democrat in the U.S. Senate for Texas. Texas is ready to shake its red state identity.

I find it interesting that mentioning a 62-24 Primary loss was considered a good idea.....
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

(145,345 posts)3. I suspect that there will be runoff and this person will not make the runoff
We also have Amanda Edwards running who is a strong Democrat.
Is this same person who was endorsed by Sarandon?
