Someone should ask Bernie Sanders if he would consider

someone from the Green Party as his VP nominee. I mean there's a lot of interest in such questions, right? Someone asked Joe Biden about a Republican as VP, and Joe said he might consider such a thing, but couldn't think of anyone.

Let's ask Senator Sanders a similar question. I mean, he has people who voted for a Green Party candidate on his staff, right?

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

part of the Democratic Party and has a record of hiring people that are not a part of the Democratic Party, who he would consider as a VP. And while we are at it, I would like a conversation about the justices pick. Sanders is very focused on an agenda, and a justice that would work for the agenda may not necessarily work with social justice. I would like that cleared up also. He was willing to endorse an anti choice calling it purity politics to want a pro choice person.

This matters.

knows they are working at spreading disinformation thru using him and his campaign as devise measures. Sanders himself acknowledged he knew that is what Russia did in the past. Why are we not hearing from Sanders the actions he has taken to make sure that does not happen.

Also, now that we are thinking about it, he had dishonest issues in his campaign in the past. I am remembering people being fired for stealing data. How has he cleaned that up, and what is his plan he implemented to address that within his own campaign. Like when they, say, trash another primary candidate with a lying video.

I get Sanders has not been in the Democratic Party and is unaware the Democrats have a line. Integrity is important to us. We are not like the Republicans where anything goes. When Weiner does dick pictures he is out. Even the appearance of ethical issues like Frankin and Hill, they leave. We are the party of integrity and we expect, no, I say, demand that from our candidates.

Whatever his answer is won't change the fact Joe Biden fucked up. He should have taken the opportunity to promote his fellow Democrats. He didn't even need to name names. He could have just said, "Republicans? Fuck no. I got all the candidates I need right here."

Fri Jan 3, 2020, 05:34 PM

He has talked about his fellow candidates as potential running mates, including Warren:

"I'd add Sen. Warren to the list. I'd add all..." he continued, trailing off. "But she's going to be very angry, my having said that. The question is, would she add me to her list?"

He was asked a gotcha question about considering a republican, and he dismissed it with class and humor.

People are really reaching with this attack on him.

one could entertain the idea of any Republican, even a hypothetical one, as a VP candidate given the current state of the Republican Party. That said, it would be no less horrendous to invite someone from the Green Party dilettantes to join the campaign. There are two dumb ideas we should be able to agree have no merit, must we continue to find new ones?
