1. I'm not sure if I'll even vote for Booker...

That being said, I was very excited when he joined the race. I find some of his connections to private equity and the pharmaceutical industry troubling, but I've got to say: he's been a very bold voice on criminal justice reform. I truly hope that if anything, he will insert these ideas into the conversation and ramp up pressure on the other candidates to adopt some of his more controversial positions.

He was just talking marijuana reform, and yes, legalization is important, but so is expunging records and returning resources to poor and P.O.C. communities.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

For that one and only reason. Webb is one of the best out there on criminal justice reform. He is passionate about it and his ideas are overall some of the best.

4. He doesn't have "connections" to private equity and the pharmaceutical industries....

...he's from New Jersey, not far from where THOUSANDS of normal, every day people work at banks and financial companies (tellers, clerks, secretaries, housekeeping, etc.) and the state where major pharmaceutical companies (same job categories) have headquarters.

What is his "connection" other than that many average people work in those industries? None!

3. Very simply, I was MORE than impressed. He really seems to be in touch with the issues.....

....and to me he is on the right side of just about all of them. What he did to me is complicate how to cast my one measly vote next spring.

We're lucky to have such a great group of potential nominees, let's hope they and we unify behind whoever that person is.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
