Washington Post Retracts Bernie Sanders Image After Charges of Anti-Semitism

In the ongoing war between WaPo and Bernie Sanders, the latest salvo is truly bizarre; in a story about Sanders raising $34.5 million in the fourth quarter of 2019, the paper chose a very strange picture to accompany the digital version:

Here's the contrast with the image used in the Pete Buttigieg fourth quarter story:

(snip)

As of now, no statement has been released and there’s no explanation of how the picture came to be used in the first place.

There are more tweets on the link including the new pic of Bernie.

I am at a loss for words.

Of all the Bernie photos out there, how hard did they have to dig to unearth that one?

I mean how many times are there photos of any candidates with the word "NOT" right in the frame next to their face?

And the lighting...

As far as the picture, you have to really be looking for a reason to be outraged if that's what you are complaining about. I'm really looking forward to how Bernie fans react when the press is actually critical of him.

His employees know Bezos has no love or even like of Bernie and his policies which would adversely affect their boss's billionaire bottom line.

That's all it takes, Bezos; doesn't even have to pick out a derogatory pic or dictate one sided trash articles against Bernie, it doesn't take an IQ of 120 for his employees to know what makes their boss happy and what doesn't.

That would have been far better/ mild even than what really happened

However do not tell me that pictures of Obama in a native head dress with a bone through his nose wasn't offensive. Asking for his birth certificate wasn't offensive. A family portrait of Obama his wife and children as apes wasn't offensive. His wife called an ape in heels. His wife and children's vacation leaked. Pictures of Malia smoking a joint was offensive. Death threats. So many death threats.

I am sure you were outraged about all that as well, Jack.
