I think there are too many people at DU trying to go back and cherry pick

comments and votes made by some our candidates years ago. Yes, I understand that people are strong supporters of the candidates of their choice and they are looking for any means to promote their candidate. But after we get a nominee we will need to come together in order to fight our common enemy in the White House.

I don't think we have a candidate who hasn't made any mistakes. We don't have a candidates who hasn't made a vote that she/he would like to take back. And we don't have a candidate who has not stuck his or her foot in their mouth at one time or another. I think we are better off concentrating on attacking that guy in the White House. The second guessing and cherry picking of our own candidates needs to stop. And in so far as I may have made that same mistake in the past, then I need to stop it too and will try to.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

trying to disparage Joe Biden for the votes he took in the past, maybe what you want will happen. Otherwise, I would not bet on it.

Or trolls, Russian or otherwise. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have a compendium of research at my fingertips to link and support my anti-whomever posts. I always view those types of links with something someone said back in 1992 posts with suspicion. Think about it.

Things were different years ago - thinking was different, opinions were different, priorities wee different, the world was different. Nobody had a crystal ball (a working one, anyway). Hindsight is always 20/20.

IMHO, a lot of this cherry-picking comes from the MSM, which needs stories to keep people interested, and controversy (real or made up) is always a story. We are often too gullible to realize the media is manipulating us to keep us watching the commercials. I flat-out refuse to read or listen to anything that smells like spin or filler text, or like "opinions." I'd love to get out there and make serious money by sprouting my "expert opinion" too. Just tell me what people are saying or doing NOW and let me make up my own mind, thank you very much.
