@shaunking
Wow.
Just spoke to a source who told me that Elizabeth Warren admittedly "embellished" the words of
@BernieSanders
to her friends after her meeting with him in 2018, saying that Bernie said a woman couldn't win, but that he never actually said those words.
Disgusting.

(5,969 posts)This tweet suggests that there was at least something said in that direction. What could have been embellished in that context? That it would be very hard or too hard for a woman to win? That wouldn't make the comment better.
If someone wanted to counter the claim, he could have at least offered more insight into what was actually said. Just saying it was embellished is not enough. This kind of non-denial makes me believe the original claim more.

(1,812 posts)is in direct contravention to all his public statements and actions ...My God, he urged Elizabeth to run for President in 2015 ..Bernie is a Mysoginist ? .He urged a woman to run for the Highest Office in the Land Only when she refused to take the cudgel, did he decide to run himself ...What a strange course of action for a male supremacist to take ..

(2,657 posts)exact words. Why would Senator Warren embellish or imply that Sanders said that unless he hinted at that? That is what I am wondering. I am still waiting on Senator Warren. As she says, so shall I believe.
