After the debate the commentators didn't mention Bernie

through the first part of their discussion. When they did talk about Bernie it was to try and make something out of a 2018 conversation that Bernie had with Warren. I believe Bernie’s version about how Trump would attack her. Elizabeth didn’t try and make anything out of it other than say yes he did say a woman couldn’t get elected. But the commentators didn’t say anything about her plans and they said she “won” the debate based on Bernie saying a woman could not get elected. Bernie pointed out that technically Hillary was elected with a 3 million surplus popular vote.

didn't happen. And I am not a supporter, but Warren is no liar. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I am sure others who were there. And we saw him afterward put out his hand...but she didn't see it I guess...Women are funny. I won't vote for Warren except in a general but I like her...and am deeply offended at his behavior towards her. You don't want to know what my three daughters had to say about it...two are Millennials and one is Gen Z.

and were still under its influence.

Sanders' 2016 interview revealed him to be shockingly, impossibly ignorant (after over a quarter century in congress!) of ways he could use the various offices of the federal government to fulfill his campaign promises.

His interview for this candidacy helps explain how that could be: He doesn't plan to use them. Instead, he will fly around the country in Air Force One as a kind of revolutionary self-legislating leader, rousing and harnessing the power of the people to threaten congress into rolling over for him. Kind of like Trump with the Republicans but a lot less friendly.

Kid you not. He's not kidding.

Presumably he'll similarly steamroll instead of using the functions and institutional wisdom of agencies like the Fed and OMB. Because that's also needed to explain why Sanders has never felt a need to understand how these hugely important agencies of the executive branch work and all they can be put to work to achieve.

Btw, last August Sanders publicly ascribed Warren's surge in popularity to her being a woman, dismissing the possibility that her ideas earned it.

And he came out the loser in the spat with Warren.

The snub post-debate was symbolically embraced by many in the party.
