Bernie falsely claims he and Elizabeth were talking about the WEATHER

during that non-handshake moment last night.

Unfortunately for Bernie, and his credibility, CNN has released audio of that moment -- and they weren't arguing about the weather.

https://www.businessinsider.com/sanders-said-talked-about-weather-with-warren-viral-debate-moment-2020-1

On Wednesday, NBC News reporter Gary Grumbach asked Sanders what he was discussing with the Massachusetts senator after the debate. "About the weather," Sanders said in response.

Tuesday night's viral exchange came amid a growing rift between the two progressive candidates, which was exacerbated this week when a report came out alleging Sanders told Warren in a 2018 meeting that he did not believe a woman could win the presidential election.

Sanders has vehemently denied the accusation, but Warren has commented publicly on it and contradicted him. "I thought a woman could win, he disagreed," Warren said in a statement.

"I think you called me a liar on national TV," Warren can be heard saying.
"What?" Sanders responded.
"I think you called me a liar on national TV," she repeated.
"You know, let's not do it right now. If you want to have that discussion, we'll have that discussion," Sanders said, to which Warren replied, "Anytime."
"You called me a liar," Sanders continued. "You told me -- all right, let's not do it now."

He saw he was wrong and she was willing to push it, so he threw in "you called me a liar", then the dismissive "let's not do it now" and then he turned and walked away.
