Intellectually bankrupt!

I love the Democratic party because it contains many people, many opinions, and many points of view.

I guess that looks like intellectual bankruptcy to some.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

If I were to bash Elizabeth Warren all you are going to do is come after me with rebuttals but I know I will not convince you to give away your support for Warren just because of what I post, it is just my opinion or if quoting an article then that is the author's opinion.

What Bernie said 30 years ago is null today, has he said it since?

Anyway, we need to stop the discourse that this kind of posts create. There is another one here on DU quoting Biden from something he said many years ago, and who cares? how does he think today? Lets instead talk about what we can do, even within our small circle, to wake people up to the danger that our country is in today, how to defeat the thugs of this administration, how to change minds to make sure a majority not only supports the impeachment and kicking out trump from office, but come November that majority votes Democratic, that we get the Presidency, the Congress again as well as the Senate.

Lets stop wasting time by bickering among us.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

5. You assure me that I would attack you if you bashed Elizabeth Warren

And allow me to point out, in real time, that you do not know me and that you are making promises about my future behavior based upon nothing.

Bash her. See what happens.

For instance, the native American stuff exploded on her and is a giant liability for her campaign. If you were to say that it weakens her as a candidate, I would agree with you.

Maybe say that her Medicare for all discussion ended prematurely, and some of her proposals did not seem to have been fully thought through or costed.

Maybe identify statements from her in the past that you find problematic.

However, and allow me to say this kindly, your promises that I will attack you are based upon nothing.

Edit: if you were to say that her sudden turn against Bernie Sanders was clunky and off-putting, I would agree with that too. I do not like this current dust-up and I do not like how their personal relationship has become a focus. I think she could have been kinder to him, and I do think that when she went forward with the statement, she knew that it would explode. She's not a perfect human being, not a perfect candidate, and I can fully admit that she may have flaws as a candidate and a person. Still, I switched my support to her a few months ago, and I'm still there.
