Before deciding whom to support, look at campaign promises.

If a candidate promises things that your common sense tells you cannot be done, then let that guide you. Apply your considered reaction to the actual possibilities and you'll be vetting candidates properly. Can what is proposed be achieved in the real world? No? Then that is a false promise that will not be kept.

Suppose I tell you that if I am elected, I will forgive your home mortgage, because it's unfair that you should have to pay for the house you live in. Does that sound like a good idea? Well, it might. Most of us would like to get rid of our mortgage debt. But, does it sound like something that makes much sense or is likely be be enacted? Of course not. So, I suggest you don't listen to my promise and check out what others are saying they want to do. See if some of those things are actually possible to achieve.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
