Oh c'mon people, snap out of it! Can we stop pizza-gating Iowa until we have at least one fact

straight about it?

You all remember what facts are, don't you? And you can still tell the difference between a fact and a conspiracy theory, can't you?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

8. When we surrender the narrative
Tue Feb 4, 2020, 09:12 AM
Feb 2020

we allow our opponents and the MSM to tell us what happened.

My version is: We had three obviously viable candidates, now we move forward.

We are lucky because we have an embarrassment of riches.

Congratulations to Mayor Pete, Bernie and Elizabeth.

And it's not over for Joe or Amy.

Onward and upward!

EDIT: I'm not suggesting we concoct conspiracy theories, just capitalize on the fact three candidates did very well.

It's tempting to jump ahead of everyone with a half-cooked or totally batshit narrative, but it will do a lot of damage in the long run. A narrative is only as good as the facts behind it.

11. There are already a lot of facts:
Tue Feb 4, 2020, 09:23 AM
Feb 2020

1. The voting app was hard to install, so some people did not install it.
2. Even if you could get the app installed, it did not work for some people.
3. When the app did not work, there were not enough phone lines to call the numbers in.
4. Caucus rules were changed this year, and some of the people running things blew it by not following the new rules.
5. The campaigns of the candidates did various things such as: 1) claim victory and move on 2) not claim victory and move on 3) send a letter complaining about the process and asking for a delay in reporting the numbers.

We have plenty of facts. What we do not have are the final numbers. We theoretically should get those later today

Better to release accurate numbers after a delay than have to change numbers as the Republicans did in the last two Republican caucuses.

Our Iowa caucuses are unlikely to project who will win our party’s Presidential nomination.

If the lame-stream corporate news media is disappointed that they don’t yet have a particular target to play micro-scandal and what-about games with, that’s their tough kibbles.
