trust our fellow Americans to do the right thing, not perfectly, but in good faith agency.

What if we helped empower the agency of all of us to lead our leaders, and not to let them lead us.

This isn't just about a party, it's about casting doubt on Americans to run their elections fairly and honestly for themselves.

We need to lay off the what ifs, and do the best we can, not diminish our "more perfect union" support.

Real mistakes are to be learned from. That's agency.

We can't learn to act with sitting adjacent to fear and mistrust by entertaining what ifs.

put that aside for this year and move on together, now.

We weaken our group spirit at the time when we most need to focus on our strengths and future goals. Last year was the time to dwell on flaws.

This year is the year to show that we are greater than the sum of our parts, especially the flawed parts. They do not define our thinking this year.

Our momentum toward protecting a nation of laws over a nation of men needs to concern us all now.

When they could be using their resources and money elsewhere with better effect and more certain results.

What an exhausting week or two this has been and we still have the State of the Union address and Wednesday's Impeachment vote. Not to mention, Trump is sure to do or say something to set off some alarm bells. He can't go long without generating some hysterical headlines. Maybe he threatened to investigate John Bolton because the Iowa caucuses got too much media attention.

Wyoming, for example, holds it's primaries in August by law, so the only way to participate in the conventions are to hold caucuses.

Many have.

If Wyoming wants to be part of the process, they can do so too.

If they don't, that's on them.

ps. Wyoming only gets 14 delegates. Out of nearly 4000. 0.3%.

The Republicans don't want the state paying for Democrats choosing a presidential nominee, and like being able to have control over how delegates to the Republican convention are chosen.

Hence, the law will never be changed there and Democrats have no choice but to hold caucuses.

My brother lives in Wyoming.

Iowa? Who cares.

On the day the 2020 presidential election kicks off with the Iowa caucuses, Michael Bloomberg was half a continent and a leap of faith away in California, where the Democratic candidate sought to bring attention to a campaign that has forsworn early voting states and anchored its ambitions to California, Texas and other delegate-rich battlegrounds to come.
