Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumSo, is it working?
Trump let Ukrainians die and used $400 million dollars in an effort to extort a smear of Joe Biden.
Republicans used the impeachment trial to drag the Biden name through their un-sourced mud.
Some state GOP operatives are actively supporting Biden's strongest opponent.
Republican senators continue to threaten investigations to "get to the bottom of" the non-existent Biden "corruption".
Though very little effort has been made to corroborate this, does anyone doubt that the internet is crawling with pro-Trump/anti-Biden propaganda?
Trump himself slanders Biden and props up Bernie.
So, again, is it working? Everyone OK with this?

(11,607 posts)I have not seen anyone on this forum, or any of the other candidates, ever say that Biden did anything wrong in Ukraine or give legitimacy to that nonsense. The only thing that has been said - and I think this is a fair point - is that one risk of impeachment, and of nominating Biden, is that Trump could use this to draw a false equivalence and drag down Biden too. But I have not seen a single post here saying Biden or his son did anything corrupt with Ukraine.

Joe should drop out because it looks bad about his son
Even tho no wrong doing, this disqualifies Joe
Nepotism will disqualify Joe.
Joe supporters remember if you dont.

(4,377 posts)Also calling it 'help' is a bit laughable anyway to be honest. So Trump talks about the DNC rigging the race against Bernie, who is it that hears that asshole and believes him? Is it the same people who hear and believe him when he calls Bernie a communist or 'Crazy Bernie'? Who exactly is it that you think is being swayed by this Republican 'help'?

(23,156 posts)They hate Biden the worst. These are facts. So drumpf pushes Bernie by going on about DNC collusion because he wants him to be the candidate. Then on stage he trashes socialism. It's not that he or Russia like Bernie, they think he's the most easily defeated (GASP, COMMUNISM!!) so they want him to be the candidate then to destroy him in the general. What is the RNC's top initiative - anti-socialism (i.e. anti-Bernie).

(23,156 posts)The opinions voiced by RT are ok for you, even though they are being pushed by Russia to influence us? Are also ok with a high percentage of Bernie bros voting for drumpf or Stein and helping Impotus3 win? Seems like you are ok with the results of Russia interference and that they have a voice in our elections?

(45,120 posts)opinions. I'm a Democrat and a liberal. I'm too smart for Russia to influence and I'm sure as fuck not going to let any Republican influence me or my vote. If RT worries you by all means keep an eye on the commies. I'm not going to bother with them.
Speaking of being okay with people who voted for someone who helped Trump win there sure is a lot of Republican love going around. Steve Schmidt worked on Republican campaigns, including GW's gets a lot of mentions and attboys . When he's going after Bernie.

(16,685 posts)They shit on Kerry's military record and turned an email housekeeping issue into a national scandal. They're going to do whatever they think they need to do to take down anyone we run. The question needs to be what are you going to do to combat it? Regardless of who it is? What are you going to find to get excited about regardless of who ends up being our candidate so you can talk them up to your neighbors? Because our ability to self-govern is at stake.
