(12,265 posts)Bloomberg said "who is the other one". Loved it, I'm sure the orange one almost stroked out over that one.

(102,359 posts)So, far his ads have been devastating to Trump.
More, More, More, please Mike! I may not be prepared to support you in the primaries, but I sure as hell appreciate your fight against Trump.

(25,487 posts)So it will be best of both worlds.... Dems benefit from Bloomberg's money, but don't have to vote for a bad candidate for President.

(2,580 posts)when he promises to spend as much on the GE as he spends on the primary, regardless of who is the Dem candidate.
Until then he's simply self gratifying.

(1,773 posts)Especially all those thousands of African-American males who had their constitutional rights violated by "Mayor Mike" and his Gestapo-like police all those years in NYC with his Stop And Frisk program.
Oh wait, I forgot. Mayor Millions....I mean, Mike...offered up what I'm sure was the most sincere apology ever penned by a hired speech writer for all those years of chronic abuse and racism. We love him now. He's a real salt-of-the-earth champion of the people now, especially minorities.

(12,187 posts)Were any of those stop and frisks - and yes I know how abhorrent they are - conducted by minority LEOs?
I believe the answer is yes.
Second question, do you want to remove the obese shitbag or not because Im ready to support Bern if hes the candidate. I dont know if youll reciprocate in kind.

(1,773 posts)1.) Considering the scale of the civil rights abuses that occurred, would it really matter if every officer who conducted a stop and frisk was a POC? That would mitigate or negates the abuses somehow? That program was one of Bloomberg's babies, and no amount of deflection will change that now.
2.) Yes, I want Dotard OUT! But I don't merely want one imperious, billionaire asshole replaced with another, even one who knows how to virtue signal all the correct sentiments but is just as authoritarian, racist and arrogant as his predecessor.
Instead of limiting ourselves to simple either/or scenarios, how about if we expand our expectations a little and actually nominate someone with principles? Wouldn't that be nice?

To quote a truly awfully movie, The immaterial has become immaterial, and we no longer have the luxury of solely having the moral - and losing - high ground.
