There was plenty of corruption and scandal in that administration. You're right though, it was Obama who said we need to look forward, not backward. The lack of accountability gives others permission to do whatever they want, because there will be no consequences.

But I know I want things returned back to decent and normal - ground zero, ground Obama. It will take time. Then we can dive into moving forward with lots of the great ideas others have.

I think they are his strongest suit and his answers come from authentic passion.

He sounds really offended that Trump dismisses the intelligence community and dishonors his role as commander in chief.

Maybe I’m old but I’m really comforted by the senators and VP Biden knowing the history, knowing one another and others, knowing what a danger the GOP is now, in a visceral, experienced way.

with the people they would need to collaborate with. If I didn't think Pete was so smart, and if I didn't trust our Democratic leaders to immediately work as a team, I'd be more concerned about his lack of Washington experience. But I agree, having those relationships already is an advantage.

It was good to hear them all agree about fighting the injustices against Black people and others, and agreeing to protect their right to vote. I do wish they would talk a little more about Native Americans, especially with Native Americans still struggling to be allowed to vote. The bogus excuse that they don't have an address is despicable!
