Has anyone heard Bloomberg say what he will do with his 60 billion if he wins the presidency?

Will it go into a blind trust? Will he continue to do business like the Trumps?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Of course it’s his money, he has a “right” to do what he wants with it, but I wouldn’t characterize him as an especially charitable person for giving away what he has ... think of how much suffering $50 billion could alleviate in the world... and he’d still have $10 BILLION left. What’s he holding it for? Just my opinion, and what I’d do if I had more $ than I could possibly use.

that was able to establish the fair price for similar bonds in real time, especially for fixed-income investment managers. This was just barely when computers were becoming available.

Later, he added equities/stocks to the computer, and breaking news that would be of importance to investment managers.

Before that, it was very hard to establish the fair value of a bond, or to find exactly the bond you were looking for.

These could fit on a desk, and Wall Street types rented the unit. Nowadays, it costs about $22,000 a year to rent a terminal. It is also in demand from news rooms and everyday bankers. Wells Fargo was the first corporation to use the Terminal en mass.

That's my lay-person understanding.

Maybe someone else could explain it better.

The President directs policies of the nation in relation to other countries in the world. The mayor of New York City does not.

I think it is a valid question. I think any billionaire running for office should declare up front what they intend to do.

I'd assume no one is interested in "what (I) think or expect." I'm not accusing him of anything.

That said, if you think that "no one" cares, in a Party in which
women are a MAJORITY, in the era of #MeToo, and the Post- Inaugeral Women's March -- the largest march EVER in the nation's history -- you clearly have NOT been paying attention.

In hearings related to him becoming Vice President Nelson Rockefeller was asked about large sums he personally paid various political figures in New York. He replied that he paid them to “spare them from temptation.” News reports indicated he outbid those paying bribes to assure honest government. The politicians at the hearing laughed when Rockefeller explained why he paid them. Different times.

How exactly do you see an emoluments clause conflict occurring? For Cheetolini, it's obvious, his properties, which bear his name, that he and the government and foreign dignitaries stay at are all directly profiting off of his presidency. What is it about Bloomberg's portfolio is suspect?

He is not in the debates thus far and is not subject to questions like the other candidates are.

How was Jimmy Carter's peanut business an emoluments clause conflict?

https://www.cnbc.com/2019/07/17/when-jimmy-carter-left-office-his-peanut-business-was-deep-in-debt.html

(Jimmy Carter's) peanut business, which sold certified seed peanuts and other farm supplies, was $1 million in the red by the time he finished his term, The Washington Post reports. Carter had been managing the family-owned peanut farm, warehouse and store in Plains, Georgia, since his dad died in 1953, but when he became president, he put it into a blind trust to avoid conflicts of interest.

At one time in our recent history, he would be expected to divest himself of his personal assets and put them in a blind trust to avoid the appearance of profiting from his office as President, but, as you know, that precedent has been broken. No telling what Bloomberg would do, but this would be a good question for a moderator to ask him at a debate.
