It will be interesting to see what happens to Bloomberg's support among African American voters once this information goes national.

(2,256 posts)People are selling their values, even dismissing these racists acts, as long as Bloomberg brings his money to oust Trump. I want Trump out too. But damn, excusing racism?

(2,256 posts)I just believe everyone should have all of the information available to them when they make that choice. You wouldnt believe how many post Ive seen today saying they dont care what Bloomberg has done or said as long as he wins against Trump. I want Trump out. I just think we have other candidates that can do it without our party selling its soul.

(12,047 posts)Bloomberg: Ninety-five percent of murders murderers and murder victims fit one M.O. You can just take a description, Xerox it, and pass it out to all the cops. They are male, minorities, 16-25. Thats true in New York, thats true in virtually every city
And thats where the real crime is.
These kids think theyre going to get killed anyway because all their friends are getting killed, Bloomberg said during the speech. So they just dont have any longterm focus or anything. Its a joke to have a gun. Its a joke to pull a trigger
We put all the cops in minority neighborhoods, said Bloomberg. Why do we do it? Because thats where all the crime is. And the way you get the guns out of the kids hands is to throw them up against the wall and frisk them.
Yes were arresting minorities for marijuana but thats where the crime is

(8,679 posts)I dont know all the details but clearly the stop and frisk issue was ugly and should not have been enforced that way. However, as the Mayor of huge cosmopolitan city he represented all the people and Im sure there was huge pressures on him to combat crime. That's not an excuse but an explanation for what he did and said... and that does not make him a racist.

(84 posts)The United Nations Genocide Convention, which was established in 1948, defines genocide as "acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such" including the killing of its members, causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group, deliberately imposing living conditions that seek to "bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part", preventing births, or forcibly transferring children out of the group to another group.[4][5][6]

With that said, they all do intend to vote for Mike. In my opinion, this post was created to be divisive, and does not help in removing the incumbent.
