Question for other former Yang supporters.

Wish I could post this in the candidate group but that's not possible once they drop out, apparently.

Anyway, this is just a question for the 4 other people here who supported Yang. Hopefully they'll see this.

Judging by the things I'm seeing on other online Yang groups, many of us aren't really drawn to any one candidate. My question is this - if one of the candidates reached out to him and made it clear they'd give him a position in their administration, would it sway you to support them? After thinking about it, I have to say it would. I really wouldn't have any trouble supporting any of our candidates - even Bloomberg whom I don't really feel like I can trust.

What do you think?

primary today, I would vote for:

Frankly I would vote for a cardboard box before voting for anyone from the GOP no matter the office.

I had no second or third choices as Yang was the one that made the most sense to me and still does. I don't see that changing.

As to your question, I really don't know. I would certainly listen to whatever is said, but suspect that no campaign is going to reach out to me with such an offer/suggestion. I'm one vote in a Red State and in the end that vote is pretty meaningless in November and for the primary which comes after Super Tuesday.

I do have a question however. What have any of the other campaigns said about Andrew Yang on his departure from the race? I have heard zero, but perhaps I just missed the comments.

Many are going to go ahead and vote for him in the primary anyway. Maybe I'll just do that too.

I'm pretty comfortable with the other candidates (although I might draw more of a line with Bloomberg--he's got a mess load of skeletons). I have a preference for Bernie, but if any non-Bloomberg candidate talked about making Yang part of their administration, it would definitely sway me.

and since his supporters in general were less shitty to us than other supporters (not here on duty, but in general online) he may have swayed some already.

I haven't been a Yang supporter (it's between Warren and Sanders for me), but I've appreciated his contributions to the conversation. It's because of him that I took some time to inform myself about the UBI idea (often using links from things you've posted!).

If one of the other candidates brought him into the fold, I would count that as a plus in their column.

but I utterly hate him. I will *FORCE* myself to vote blue, but put all my energy into local races. He is just a few shades better than Trump IMHO. He's everything wrong with both parties.

I like Mayor Pete most of all, followed buy Amy, then Bernie, who is at least honest about what he believes and would try to do. But I don't really care for any of them, I wouldn't hire any of them if I owned a business and was seeking employees.
