1. So should the millions he gave to Republicans, like Dan Donovan and Peter King in 2018

Or the millions he gave to Republican Pat Toomey in 2016 that helped cost us the Senate and any hope of meaningful gun reform and put Gorsuch and Kavenaugh on the Supreme Court. Should I keep going?

5. You're right...

He has supported repubs in the past and gave a lot of money.

That should be considered as well. I think what my main worry is that we'll cut off our noses to spite our faces this year.

When I think about it all, it's enough to make go to the corner and curl into a fetal position.

Winning isn't going to be all it's cracked up to be should tRump get booted out of the WH, IMO.

2. Two key points
Thu Feb 13, 2020, 12:09 PM
Feb 2020

First point - $100,000,000 to him is mouse nuts.

It is literally the equivalent of a guy that makes $100,000 donating $185. Yes, you read right, $185. Do the math.

Second point: Do you have the math on how much he donated, and to who, before 2018?

He has a well known history of flipping parties.

My guess he switches parties as he needs to to make more money. He only has $54 Billion.

Some will just have to decide if it's worth supporting him or not.

I'm so torn on who to support this year that I haven't done my early voting yet.

4. Something else to keep in mind. Steyer spent $123 Million on the midterms.

How Billionaire Tom Steyer’s $123 Million Helped Democrats In The Midterms

https://www.forbes.com/sites/angelauyeung/2018/11/09/how-billionaire-tom-steyers-123-million-made-a-difference-in-the-midterms/#5ce8e4273ed1

And Steyer has not donated to Republicans like Bloomberg did for Pat Toomey and others.

Federal records show that political committees funded by Mr. Bloomberg have spent more than $86 million since 2012 — the bulk devoted to promoting Democrats. Yet more than $17 million went to boost Republicans. In addition, Mr. Bloomberg has personally donated another $950,000 to Republican campaigns and political action committees.

Among the Democratic voters who think that a billionaire is needed to beat Trump, I'm wondering why Bloomie is getting so much more consideration than Steyer.

However, if the centrists are swept away because they stay fractured, this will come down to Bloomberg, Steyer and Sanders fighting at the end of the primary process. And I would imagine that Steyer would be sorely tempted to leave if he's not gaining enough delegates.

Bloomie didn't get into this as a hobby, someplace to spend excess cash on. He's going for all the marbles, and he probably thinks he can repeal the 22nd Amendment, too, and go for a third term, like he had the rules bent to his benefit in NYC.

15. And he may spend 20 times that this time

In January, he said.

Michael Bloomberg said Saturday he’s willing to spend a lot of money -- but “hopefully not” as much as $1 billion -- to help any Democratic nominee defeat President Donald Trump, even if he loses the nomination.

Today, there's a story in GD that indicates he may go up to $2 billion.
