Also that the moderates have 53% of the vote to the progressives' 47%

If Biden collapses completely I suspect most of his supporters go to Bloomberg which would propel him over Sanders.

7. Actually, according to Morning Consult 28% of Biden's supporters pick Sanders as 2nd choice

and 23% pick Bloomberg.

Those numbers are from their pre-NH poll. Considering Bernie is +4 in this new one and Bloomberg is only +1, if anything Bernie's share would likely go up. Haven't seen them post this level of detail for the new post-NH poll yet.

But we won't know Bloomberg's real position in this race until he's actually on a ballot.

9. Bloomberg has yet to appear at any length in front of the cameras, in person

His ads are great but they're carefully edited and more importantly 100% focused on Trump. Soon he will have to enter the fight with the other Democrats.

If Biden does well in Nevada and South Carolina, where Bloomberg is not on the ballot, then things can quickly change.

trounce Sanders and Trump. I will never vote for Sanders in a primary only a general. I know of no Biden supporter who will support Sanders.

13. Feel free to discount the polls

but Morning Consult is polling 5,000 people a day across the US. The results I mentioned can be found here: https://morningconsult.com/2020-democratic-primary/ Scroll down to the second choice numbers.

The 2nd choice statistics don't include the last few days' numbers, but are based on Feb 4-9.

I'm skeptical of predictive polls for anything past tomorrow, but in terms of the questions they asked and the answers they got, it is what it is, as they say.
