Why am I so positive about VP Biden? I like him!!!!

I think he is the best equipped to rebuild the government.. there will be a lot of rebuilding that will be needed.. not just with our allies and setting boundaries with demagogues that we have been embracing under the current Administration...but just rebuilding the government structure with has been allowed to erode..to restaff our embassies etc etc etc.

Does the Vice President have a long history and with it some things none of us like.. oh yeah.. Mama did not raise any fools..but the difference with the VP Biden from others, is he may not always make the best decisions but he is able to re-look at his decisions and move in the correct direction.. we do NOT need another person so caught up in their philosophy that they cannot see when they have taken a wrong turn..

But But VP Biden has not apologized enough... no one who demands an apology and says they do it because they do not want that person to run.. does not want an apology.. they just do not want that person to run.

But he cannot get elected with that history even if he did not do anything sexual or aggressive.. he made people uncomfortable....He did and he has addressed that..And if Bill Clinton could get re-elected while having an affair, and Donald Trump could get elected who has actually been a sexual deviant.. Joe Biden hugging people and rubbing noses is not going to stop him from being elected..

And there you have it.. I am completely comfortable with who I have chosen..

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

It would have been an awfully short story that would not have been much of a best seller. Hillary, to her credit, took full responsibility as the candidate for why she lost. She also has given at least 20 other contributing factors that led to her defeat... so, let's be fair about what REALLY happened and stick to just the facts.

Indeed, recent history shows the most qualified candidate usually LOSES. To win, the total vote count is irrelevant. Like the winner of the World Series, where it's not the team that scores the most runs... just need to win one game more than the other team. That's how it works in presidential elections until we change our "rigged election system," as you correctly say, and eliminate the Electoral College.

One of the things I keep reading and hearing is that we need change. Right now we need stability more than anything else. Joe Biden is the man for that job.

We absolutely need the person most qualified for the job, the person who can hit the ground running. We need someone who does not need to take the time to learn how to be president, who does not need to take the time to establish relationships with other world leaders.

Trump has screwed us over every which way he can, and it is going to take an insurmountable amount of work to start cleaning up the mess he has made. And not only in our own country, but our standing in the world as well.

People trust Joe Biden. And we definitely need someone sitting in the Oval Office who can be trusted.

There are other people who have already thrown their hat into the ring whom I greatly admire. And in any other circumstance, I would vote for a number of them. But right now, I truly believe we need Joe Biden to lead us back into sanity, to right the wrongs that have been committed, and put us back on course.

20. In Defense of Joe Biden: A Hug When I Needed One
Fri Apr 5, 2019, 01:01 AM
Apr 2019

At age 33, I had been a life-long Republican. I worked for, what many might describe as the “dark side and/or Darth Vaders of politics”, including George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and Sarah Palin. I was conservative in my upbringing, values, and beliefs. I stayed true to those feelings yet still found myself drawn to Joe Biden. Our affable, blunder-prone, yet seemingly oh-so-real Vice President.....

I was anxious, sad, and seriously swollen with emotion but was able to get a chance to meet the Vice President. Many of the local Democrats remarked “what are YOU doing here?” when I showed up in line at his photo opportunity. I explained my affection for VP Biden because of what I had been through, and no one blinked an eye, everyone understood. He was a good man. No matter your party.

When my turn came up to have my brief meet-and-greet and photo taken with Vice President Biden, I was nervous. Why AM I here?? But immediately, he knew my story (his staff had briefed him) and he brought me in for a long, big hug. It was exactly what I needed. We discussed Beau and my father. We talked about the recent loss of my mother — he understood family tragedy. He was close, nose to nose at times and hand in hand, but it was in that personal touch that I KNEW he was a human. Not a Vice President, or a politician, or someone that was giving a speech later that night. He was a real person, who had been through real things. Just like me. We must’ve talked for five minutes — far more than the paying Democrat contributors got! — but it was so genuine, no one would complain. Especially Mr. Biden, communicating and comparing stories with me was clearly a highlight for him amidst his political duties. I left with a giant smile on my face, the first in days, and was uplifted for a long time after. I met my hero, and he was exactly what I had expected him to be.

My point in telling this story is that, while Vice President Biden has a very personal and affectionate way about him, it is only because he loves people. He loves people’s stories. Man, woman, child. Father, mother, son, daughter, spouse. He knows people are hurting and can relate and offer genuine support. And human touch is the most basic form of relaying that. There is no ulterior motive — he just wants to get close to everyone. Because he cares about their stories. And is human. And THAT is what matters most and crosses all party lines.

with all the trauma we're going through. That's far from nothing to offer an anxious nation. People do like him, and he does make people feel good and comfortable. I actually think that's his strongest asset, with his excellent history as Obama's VP and U.S. senator to bolster it with substance, and it's a very good one for getting elected.

It'll be fascinating to see how this develops, but I really could see him with a strong VP who complements him. Kamala's officially not interested right now, of course, but it's such a natural pairing you can't help think of it.

I think all of the stuff going on right now is a political attack by, wait for it, a Democrat, or at least one who says he is a Democrat. The next President is going to need lots of experience to repair all of the damage done. It will no doubt take multiple terms to fix what this moron has done to our beautiful country but the first one needs to have experience in federal government. Joe has so much to offer in that regard. Yes, his age is an issue, but I think if he chooses a strong VP like Harris, he may be what we need right now.

I worry about a person with less federal experience being totally overwhelmed and easily swayed one way or the other. We need someone who thinks for themselves and can make decisions and stand by them.
