Democratic Primaries

Why does it seem like a VAST majority of the candidates supporters are saying they will support the candidate no
matter who it is? But it seems and Im just saying it seems, based on a lot of the posting that Bernie supporters will not vote or support the nominee UNLESS its Bernie? Posts like vote your conscience etc. Is it a maturity thing or like a cult, as if its preordained and if he loses its rigged?
The way this primary is going, its sounding a lot like 2016. And if we dont have support of everyone no matter who it is, congrats Trump will win again, and then we get 35+ years of a conservative judiciary with further erosion of our institutions. And listen, its not attacking Bernie, but he like trump, I dont think will drop out if he looks like he lost. He doesnt show that he wants the best for those of us who generally share the same ideals, when he is attacking and equating the democratic establishment to the republicans, that literally is allowing him to use THEIR infrastructure to run for President. Truth be told, after 2016, he should have taken a long hard look at himself and not ran but his ego is getting pumped, just like trump by throngs of adoring fans. IMHO.
Why do I and many others feel like if the roles were reversed and Biden is the nominee, there will be Bernie supporters voting the conscience.

(419 posts)the democratic establishment. They cant stop us! Hes saying, as many do, with a movement, us vs them. You think after that his supporters are just gonna go, well we lost, lets support (insert candidate). Dont think so.

(20,709 posts)The other Bernie supporters I know are the same way, with the possible exception of Bloomberg. I do have some friends who say the might not be able to bring themselves to vote for Bloomberg.
But even for those, I think that at the end of the day, they would turn out for Bloomberg against Trump if it comes down to that, despite their reservations.
