Quote:

Mora, who joined the Sanders campaign last fall as an organizer in Iowa, locked the account roughly six months ago so that only followers—including at least one other person on the Sanders campaign payroll—could see what he tweeted. But the account, which features a photo of Mora as its avatar, links directly to his personal Instagram and shares its name as well, remains active, with more than 4,000 followers.

Bernie Sanders campaign parts ways with staffer after report of homophobic and anti-Semitic tweets

(CNN)Bernie Sanders' campaign has parted ways with a newly hired staffer after a conservative website unearthed a series of tweets allegedly from the staffer that contained anti-Semitic and homophobic language.

Darius Khalil Gordon announced Wednesday that he had taken a job with the campaign as the deputy director of constituency organizing. On Thursday, the Washington Free Beacon, a conservative website, reported that Gordan had sent tweets in 2010, 2011 and 2012 that contained offensive, anti-Semitic and homophobic slurs.

The tweets were no longer available on Gordon's page after the Free Beacon's post, and Gordon's Twitter account has since been deactivated.

The Sanders campaign told CNN that Gordon is no longer on the job.

Get that behavior out of our primary. Good riddance, and a good call on the part of the Sanders campaign. Especially the apparent attack on Buttigieg's sexuality.. jesus.

Thought it might not be a good idea to publish. The things he wrote about the other Democratic candidates was filthy. I understand he was fired, but too late. He never should have been hired in the first place!

The Daily Beast article was sickening.

This person had another account on Twitter which printed tweets about Pete that were 'sexual' and 'scatalogical' but couldn't be recited by the Daily Beast. This account got banned but not for those tweets, for comparing Megan McCain to Ms. Piggy. So you can call gays any name you want apparently but don't dare go after Megan.
