Joe Biden Hints That Kamala Harris Could Be His VP...👩🏽

Daryon Jackson, who was formerly Senator Kamala Harris’ political strategist, flagged video on Thursday of former Vice President Joe Biden saying he was looking for a VP who matched his ideals like Kamala Harris or another woman. Jackson then noted that it sounded like Harris was his top pick

“I’ve been begun thinking about that in terms of both women, women of color, Latinos, and men of color. But also, on others who share my philosophic view of what to do,” the Democratic candidate for president said.
Asked if Kamala Harris would fit that bill, Biden said, “I think so.”

“I think so, but again I’ve not spoken to Kamala Harris about that and it’s presumptuous of me to do that. But I think Kamala Harris is someone — but look, there’s a number of women who –”
Biden then refused to name the women, saying he’d get into real trouble to do so. But he said he’s beginning to talk about it with his close associates

Chairman of the Dem Coalition Jon Cooper tweeted, “Raise your hand if you think a @JoeBiden/@KamalaHarris ticket would mop the floor with Trump/Pence,” and within an hour had 1.7 thousand retweets

Oh the look on the orange con's face if it happens...

Go Joe ….😎

positions as VP and cabinet members and directors.

There is a wealth of talent if you look back through the first 20+ primary debate participants.
And there are some floating people w/ talent like Abrams that should tapped.

My dream is that all the supporters of the multitude of candidates we had in the beginning are now assets as participants in the next government. All of the DU bickering could settle down if each of us were assured that our preferred candidate would have some say.

I preferred Harris. I am sorry she is out. But I would be elated to see her as or VP or AG pick by Biden [or ANY OTHER candidate.

I am hoping that one candidate can get future staff structure figured out and made public early. There are a lot of advantages to that.

34. I think Gavin's long range political plan
Thu Feb 27, 2020, 06:27 PM
Feb 2020

is to get to the White House. He has been strategic with his political choices - mayor of San Francisco, Lt. Governor, and then governor. Some thought he would try for governor after being mayor, but he took his time and was part of a winning administration with Jerry Brown. I think he would make a great presidential candidate some day. I just thought he might want to try the senate first, but 2021 would be too soon for him to leave the governorship.

Ted Lieu, Adam Schiff, or Katie Porter are all great choices. California has so much great talent. I think I'd might prefer Schiff to be the next Speaker of the House. He's earned it. I can't imagine anyone better, well after Nancy Pelosi. He's a natural leader.

He has executive talent out the wazoo, but seemingly no desire for legislative positions. Mayor/Governor track is IMO the best training for the Presidency and he has followed the script so far. After all, if you can govern California successfully, the Presidency would be in the wheelhouse considering California would be a Top 10 country by itself.

Ted Lieu may be better for the Senate but he has no path to the presidency unless the rules were changed, so speakership could be a non-starter.

Newsom seems like the type of person who thrives best in executive positions. I don't think he would be terribly happy in the senate, he is more a decision-maker than a legislator. Going from governor to president is a natural progression - Carter, Reagan, Clinton, and GW Bush.

Yes, Ted Lieu for senate and Adam Schiff for Speaker of the House. Should be let them know we've planned their political careers for them? I think we're pretty good at this!

I think Abrams as the VP and Harris as the AG would be even better! To add here could we lose her senate seat? I hope not! We need the numbers!

However, if Kamala does not want VP, there is still AG, Sec. of State, and SCOTUS! All would be sweet!

but I'd rather see her as AG. There will need to be someone good in that position to clean up this Barr/Trump mess. And forget about the look on Trump's face. I wanna see Moscow Mitch shit his depends.

Will vote for a Democrat over Trump no doubt so you would not need Harris to help win the state. Stacey Abrams could help Biden win the state of Georgia.

Harris has appeal outside CA. I like her style and her background is excellent for a general election.

To being the governor and the demographics keep changing in Georgia. I like Harris a lot so it would not bother me.

Anyway I would happy with her as well. We have some very good VP candidates to choose from. I think Susan Rice should be on the short list as well.

If Biden is trailing badly after Super Tuesday he might be well served picking a vp before convention for some momentum

I'd vote anything in blue, but that ticket is very appealing. So is Biden/Abrams, though I think Harris is a stronger pick because Abrams is still pretty new to all of this.

I'd be gloriously happy with a ticket like that. Harris was my first choice, and a strong woman on the ticket would be great for Democrats. Joe? Not my first choice for president, but I'd have a lot more confidence in Joe than in Bernie. It's a long way off yet, but it's a great idea.

Biden/Harris = Donald Trump defeat!

It's usually rare the VP comes from those who ran for the top spot, though.

I've been over-the-top impressed by her intellect and no-nonsense demeanor. She reminds me of that tough, strict but fair, high school principal whom you do not want to run afoul of because she sees right through your lame-ass excuses for whatever misbehavior resulted in your being sent to her office. She would make a wonderful vice president and subsequent president. I would love to see a Joe Biden / Stacy Abrams ticket as well!
