(713 posts)Good to see fresh numbers. This reinforces what I have been thinking-- Biden is doing well enough to keep his campaign alive, and he may get a shot in the arm from a win in SC. Sanders is a close second. Everyone else is trailing.
If these numbers persist and the SC Primary goes this way, I think the stage is set for a Super Tuesday battle between Bernie and Biden. Bernie's goal in SC should be to be as close to Biden's numbers as possible, as a strong second place. Biden's goal would be to win with as big a margin as possible.

i also think the higher steyer and pete's numbers, the lower biden's number goes.

(25,183 posts)comes in third or worse in SC, then he will not throw good money after bad, and will drop out. However, if he can finish in the top two, especially if he can win, even narrowly, he has the resources to spend like crazy in the rest of the nomination process, and sell himself as an alternative to both Bernie and Bloomie.
