Lawmaker: no memory of any confrontation at the airport as described by Biden

Wow, that's a direct contradiction of Biden's claim there was a confrontation at the airport, let alone an "arrest".

That was a "Further Update" from the Washington Post 1:46 PM · Feb 28, 2020

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

“After he [Mandela] got free and became president, he came to Washington and came to my office. He threw his arms around me and said, ‘I want to say thank you.’ I said, ‘What are you thanking me for, Mr. President?’ He said: ‘You tried to see me. You got arrested trying to see me.’”

“We had no problem with airports at any of the countries we visited,” for Rep. Don Bonker said, noting Biden "wasn’t the only white guy on the trip.” Bonker also said such a confrontation was unlikely in Lesotho because it was an African-run country that did not have apartheid.

Lesotho is a non-apartheid Black nation completely surrounded by South Africa.
