And yes, I think a Biden/Harris ticket would win.

A bonus, in addition to her other qualities, is that Harris' senate seat would be filled by a Democrat. It worries me greatly that Sanders' senate seat will be filled by a Republican appointee if he wins - as would Warren's seat, albeit more briefly.

A black woman, experience in state and federal government, and young. Some have pointed out that we already have California locked up, but the benefit to her selection would be that her Senate replacement would most certainly be a Democrat. It's one fewer thing to worry about. Actually, I don't think winning a state has the same pull in VP selections as we might think. In this age of mass media, I think it's more about the personality of the person and if they bring enough to the ticket to help the overall narrative. Obama selected Biden in 2008, but not because he wanted to secure Delaware. Clinton and Gore were from the same region. Dick Cheney was from Wyoming of all places. Having the right person is the final court of appeal.

Also, given that Biden and Harris specifically had a spat early in the campaign, a Biden-Harris ticket would speak to the ability to forge partnerships and not take things personally, working instead for a greater good.

I will say that Harris is not a particularly warm personality. She's smart, tough, and experienced, but she comes off... well... like a prosecutor (in the worst sense). I know that some will say, "That's just what we need to go up against Mike Pence!" But there are reasons candidates do poorly and drop out of primaries. If she's going to be on a national ticket, she has to be effective. Otherwise, picking her is just political masturbation.

Joe Biden
