Bit of an oddball and a bit boisterous. He entertained the group one night at his condo. Don't remember that he was married at the time, but I do remember the tour of the condo that featured a master bedroom with a canopy bed with a full mirror on the top.

This was over 40 years ago. Good times.

His candidacy does not do anything for me. He won't be the party's nominee, so I can only characterize this as a "vanity" campaign. One "last hurrah" and an effort to "shape the message" or to "be onstage" with the person who WILL be our party's nominee.

As the saying goes: it is what it is (and a lot of people see it for what it is, too.)
