I hope the Democratic candidates are asked about tarriffs and trade policy. There was one

Democratic candidate who was pushing tarriffs and protectionism, and was on a radio program every week pushing that along with the host of that radio show, in 2016, and still is pushing it.

In fact their approach was very similar to what the current administration has been doing for the last two years, and his latest is to augment this policy against Europe

That is not how you negotiate trade policy, and it may sound good among the so-called populists candidate's supporters, it was a failure and accelerated the Great Depression, and is a failure today



If I were to vote in a presidential

Last year, Harris rebuked the Trump administration over its tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from the European Union, Canada and Mexico.
