Poll: Biden holds nearly 20-point lead among Dems in South Carolina

Former Vice President Joe Biden holds an 18-point lead in South Carolina among a field of Democratic presidential candidates and possible candidates, according to a new poll.

The survey, conducted by Change Research and shared with The Post and Courier, shows Biden with support from 32 percent of likely primary voters. He's followed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) at 14 percent and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) at 10 percent.

The survey also shows former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams (D) climbing in the state, though she trails several candidates.

South Carolina is slated to hold the fourth presidential nominating contest in 2020.

Bernie's AA support is strong, Biden could not lead in a racially diverse state, ect. So much for that.

Biden on the top of the ticket. We had him by Obamas side for eight years. People know Biden. People like Biden. People are absolutely exhausted of the daily shame visited on all of us by this buffoon and deeply crave a return to sanity.

to lose the primary election here. And while he has been known to make the occasional gaffe, he usually doesn't do that with racial issues.

Biden polled incredibly well in 2016 even though he showed little interest in running and then was consumed with the death of his son.

He is smart enough and tough enough to go head to head with Trump and win. Others might be, but one 1 or 2 have my confidence to beat Trump (at this point).
