Disappointed in Amy and Pete

In my state, many people had voted early for Amy or Pete. Now their votes are wasted. They might have voted for someone other than Biden if they knew their votes didn't count.
The timing here is unfortunate. I feel cynical about the whole thing.
I voted for Bernie in the last primary and felt the same letdown.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

against Mayor Pete, I doubt Sanders would have gotten votes from his supporters. As for Amy, she was always a moderate and it was expected that those who support her would switch to Biden...we shall see. However, Biden doesn't get the early votes until a second ballot.

Until they figure out a way to get everyone to vote at the same time, it's going to keep happening. I started voting in presidential primaries in 1988. 2016 was the first time the person I voted for (or wanted to vote for) in the primary was still in the race when my vote was cast.

Bruce Babbitt was the first presidential candidate I ever voted for. Absentee. He dropped out literally hours after I dropped my ballot in the mail.

My order of preference for 2020 was Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar, Pete Buttigieg...kind of making up for 2016 in spades.

It's not the early voters that I worry about. I have respect for their judgment, and I think that that they would have chosen someone better than Biden if they had known their first choice wouldn't count. Like Warren, who is very well qualified to be President. She "has a plan." She has qualifications.

Looks to me that Joe's charm lies in what people perceive as "electability."

The establishment strikes again.

who made the effort with their first choice in mind. Several of my friends who voted early for Pete were pretty sad about what they called wasting their vote and losing the opportunity to vote for their next choice.

A few Amy voters who have been actively RESISTING this WH for over 3 years and seriously wanted their vote to go to a woman were sickened when they felt their vote didn’t even count.
