When a candidate has spent $500 million dollars, it is hard to get out of the race.

No matter who they may be?

That is a lot of money. All of it spent on ads. They are everywhere. Everybody has seen them.

A few days ago, Mr Bloomberg "misspoke" when he was talking about the politicians he had "bought". He quickly changed his wording from "bought" to something a little more acceptable. He knows he is trying to buy the Democratic nomination.

If he is successful, the Democratic Party is dead, in my humble opinion.

Do we really have to settle for a billionaire Republican, albeit liberal on many issues, as the Democratic nominee?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

5. yes. It's one percent

actually .79 percent.

I haven't seen his income statements... but I bet he makes that much in something under 3 months. $2Billion a year return on $63B... entirely feasible.

I think he thought Joe was "done" and the rest of the moderate field ( although I hardly call ANY of them real moderates ) was weak... so, to stop Bernie and defeat Trump, he decided to run. If he gets spanked hard today, I expect him to suspend his campaign... and I would not be surprised if he spends another 1 Billion on defeating Trump with TV time that helps Democrats.

He helped the TV station companies and the post office with the ad blitz as did Steyer, but he needs to get out tonight and find more productive use of rest of his fortune.

He may have a huge ego, but even he has to know when it's a lost cause. It may not be a huge percentage of his wealth, but he isn't getting any return on his spending. He has not done well tonight, and he was counting on Super Tuesday to have a successful launch. I think he will re=evaluate in the next few days.
