"Don't believe the media" and Bernie Sanders today

David Gura (@davidgura) Tweeted:
Asked by a reporter if his campaign has changed strategy overnight, Sen. Bernie Sanders interrupts:

"Is that what the media is [sic] writing? Don't believe the media."

Mystery Solvent (@MysterySolvent) Tweeted:
OMG! Did Bernie Sanders just say don’t believe what you read in the media? Thoughts? https://t.co/YvzUpGFLRF

Minimizing all the good progressive plans and actual accomplishments good people have made, trashing them really hard on errors or compromises they had to make all the while exaggerating his to the point of complete distortion.

how harmful—to himself and in general—it is to keep uttering these kinds of Trumpian attacks on the media? He’s apparently not aiming his remarks at Fox News pundits but at mainstream media offering objective analyses of Super Tuesday and his campaig’s road to the nomination.

It shows either a lack of sense, or a tendency to go completely off the rails. Neither of which is what many want to see in a president.
