Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumI hope the Elizabeth Warren runs for president again.
If President Biden or President Sanders decides to serve only one term then I think that Elizabeth could run again in 2024. And if the new president serves two terms then Elizabeth would be the same age that Bernie is now if she decided to run in 2028.

(30,748 posts)BS supporters have to interpret Bernie's utterances and tell us what he REALLY said or REALLY meant.
I can't support Bernie or his fans.

(25,183 posts)Sanders or Biden decide to only serve one term, I would imagine that the VP would have an enormous leg up on anybody else that would want the Democratic nomination.

(47,497 posts)I did not appreciate her claiming that others, like Delaney and Biden did not belong in the race because they did not support her "revolution." I did not appreciate her going after Buttigieg for the "wine cave" and I even did not appreciate her tearing into Bloomberg just from the start.
One reason why so many of us gravitated toward Biden is because he never tore into anyone.
I have to wonder whether, with a background of a solo performer as a teacher and as a senator whether she ever had to work as part of a team. To listen to others and to... yes, the horror, to compromise.
This is what effective executives do.

(6,278 posts)but in 2028 I'm thinking someone more like Katie Porter (Warren protegé). Someone not on the radar now. Nobody in 2000 would have seen Obama as the 2008 choice, and that's a good thing!

(30,748 posts)The party kingmakers had him on their radar. Remember his 2004 convention speech? Here in Illinois, we knew he was up and coming.
