What are you so afraid of? That Bernie will tell that Bernie marched with MLK back before it was mainstream?

Yeah, I know, followed by mainstream pill on about how naive and stupid I am. You might want to look elsewhere actually. And maybe you should stop taking us for granted. Our day may come. Especially if Biden is the nominee and Orange clown still wins. Then you will wonder what happened and not know. That is the sad part.

Just calm down, Hon. If a candidate is strong, then discussing his voting record shouldn't be so anxiety inducing.

Again, if the candidate is strong, then discussing their voting record shouldn't get you upset. Neither should video of one of his rallies showing the demographic of said rally.

You should be aware that 'the left' isn't defined by walking lockstep behind Sanders, nor what you are 'impressed" by.

MLK march. Shortly thereafter that vaunted act, he moved nearly as far away from where the civil rights movement was happening as possible: lily white rural Vermont. Where he remained for the rest of his life.

Also - Charlton Heston marched with MLK, too, so you may want to find some other example to bestow current progressive bona fides...

McConnell’s interest in race issues was inspired by his upbringing in Kentucky by parents who opposed segregation. It was fermented on the campus of the University of Louisville, where he encouraged students to march with the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

So "marching with MLK before it was popular" is not necessarily proof of any current progressive bona fides.

He will just give one of his attack speeches. Another opportunity to catch a virus.

But he will be speaking to his base. Which isn't growing and who would rather attend a rally than vote. So there's that.

I'm not dissing Bernie supporters, I understand their POV, but "the revolution" is going to have to deal with this problem, this inability to appeal to the most oppressed people in our nation, or there will never be a revolution. That's obvious. Their aims are noble, but Bernie is just not the right guy.
